The studio was born in 1988 from the idea of two engineers, Stefano Carani and Patrizia Pieroni, who decided to join forces in the common passion for engineering and architecture.
The different experiences of the two partners combined with curiosity and the desire for professional growth has meant that, over the years, the studio expanded its scope by redefining the activity in a plastic and multidisciplinary way.
The main objective of the study is to intervene on the territory and on the existing building with the logic of creating solutions that are the synthesis of the main aspects of the design, such as the architectural and functional aspect, the structural one as well as those related to plant solutions. In this process, the studio is equipped with all the necessary skills so that the realization satisfies all the technical requirements of the work and its performance, also using innovative tools and technologies for the drafting and management of projects.
The Studio Carani e Pieroni Ingegneri Associati mainly deals with the integral and integrated design of the interventions, taking care of all aspects from the original design idea, to the realization of the project, to the release of the necessary authorizations and finally to the architectural, structural and plant engineering works management as well as safety on the construction site.
Over the years it has had the opportunity to diversify its professional field by turning to construction for residential use, to that specialist residential, accommodation and social welfare, commercial, industrial and artisanal construction, construction aimed at the tertiary sector and scientific research.
Themes related to Implementation Urban Planning, infrastructures, the design of urbanization works and outdoor sports areas, special structural works projects, relevant consultancy, restoration and re-functionalization interventions of buildings belonging to the historical architectural heritage have also been developed.
